Second-hand items may have been used and clearance items are new but at a reduced price. Under Swiss law, recourse is only possible for serious defects or major misdescriptions, if reported within 7 days. To check whether a product is “USED” or “NEW”, look at the label in the top left-hand corner of the product image. It clearly indicates the status of the product: “USED” for used items, or “NEW” for discontinued products.
